Position in Hold`em poker that`s mean power, this advantages you to take action the round betting or seeing the act of your opponent's do. Logically if there more players that act after you, the higher the probability that one of them has a better hand. Your position dictates your "turn" to act - to bet, raise or fold. Your position at the table its relative to the dealer for that hands position. In general, the position at the poker game is divided into three position groups. Early, Middle and Late position.
EARLY POSITION
Three players who seats to the left of the dealer included 2 blinds position (small blind and big blind). You have to act first without knowing enough information how the other players are going to play their hands, so this is considered the worst position in poker.
This position can be very difficult, you have no idea what cards others could be holding. So, if you decide to enter a hand from early table position be sure it is a hand you really want to play. Think what you would do if a player acting after you raises the pot. Its a good idea to play strongest starting hands only when you at this position.
- BLINDThe two players who pay the blinds. The player to the left of the dealer is the small blind, followed by the big blind.
MIDDLE POSITION
Three players who seats to the left of the "Early Position". At this position, before your decide to act you can see how the players in early position play their hands. Middle position is still tough to play from so select those starting hands carefully, because there are still a good number of players to follow you who may raise.
LATE POSITION
Being in late position is take more advantages. You have a lot more information about how the hand is going, seeing what everybody else has done before you decide your act and know that only the small and big blinds have to act after you and they have already been forced to put chips in the pot.
